  I've been going to Oakwood for a couple of years now and it's been a great place to worship. The church has great contemporary music, wonderfully friendly members and a great pastor, Gerry Bass. I met Gerry and his wife, Sarah when they moved into my neighborhood and they have been so helpful to me as I dealt with some major life challenges. The rest of the congregation have also been so kind and supportive. This church supports missions and had many community outreach ministries as well as great youth programs. If you are looking for a welcoming place to worship I highly recommend Oakwood. You can feel and see the holy spirit at work firsthand.
